This is an original June, 1942 Telephone Directory from Marengo / Union, Illinois published by the Illinois Bell Telephone Company. The book measures 6-3/16" x 9-1/4" and has 12 pages. The pages have alphabetical listings for residences and businesses. There are a few ads for businesses on the front and back covers and on the top of the pages. (E-mail me if you would like me to check for a name in the residential section or a business in the business section.) The booklet is in good condition - the pages are lightly yellowed with age - there is light dirt/toning on the front and back covers - there is a 1" diagonal crease and a smaller one in the upper right corner of the booklet - there are a few smaller creases. A NICE PIECE OF MARENGO / UNION HISTORY AND WOULD MAKE A GREAT GIFT FOR SOMEONE WHO LIVED THERE DURING THAT TIME!
