C. 1951 table model  VU-LIGHTER by Scripto Inc. (Atlanta) bears U.S. Patent 2529094. Plastic view cover is beveled on either side. Pale amber coloration may be from having come from the N.Y.C. estate of a smoker / collector / tobacciana enthusiast. Underside has original cork (?) furniture protector.
